What Kind of MP3 Player is Best For Exercise?

!±8± What Kind of MP3 Player is Best For Exercise?

Most people who exercise at times get bored of just doing the workout. Especially with cardiovascular exercises like running or cycling where it's repetitive there needs to be something there that makes the time go faster. There are some changes in your routine that help but having a music player does help the time go faster and keep you more entertained.

Many make the mistake of buying a video MP3 player that's larger and expensive or even using their cell phone as their portable music player. There is nothing wrong with this, but the risk is too high for the device to fall off and break since it's so large. There are far too many runners having issues with their video iPods falling off their sleeve strap and breaking on the ground.

If you are going to get a player for exercise, try finding a cheap or even used MP3 player that could get beat up. You don't want to invest in something that you care about too much because of the chance of breaking it.

It also needs to be small. It's annoying to have a large player attached to your arm or on your shorts. When doing something like running, it can throw off your balance. Find one that is extremely small. Most of the smaller players might only have about 4 gigabytes of data on it which is considerably smaller than some of the larger devices. This can hold a wide variety of music even on it's small size.

The other thing that is a must for a player for exercise is some sort of clip. The stronger this clip is the more likely it will stay attached to you and not fall off.

One tip is to consider to not only listen to music, but consider also putting audiobooks onto the device and listening to a story. At times this can encourage you to get back out the next day for exercise to continue the story where you left off.
